The Section 8 Consolidation Program is provided by a private source that is not affiliated with the United States Government, HUD or housing authorities. The Housing List in the Section 8 and Subsidized Housing Online Packet promotes an online vehicle for tenants to locate landlords in their area and vise versa. There is no guarantee that a tenant or landlord will find one another. The Section 8 Consolidation Program awards grants to eligible applicants, not rental assistance vouchers. The Section 8 and Subsidized Housing Online Packet does not guarantee application approval be it Section 8 housing, low income housing or the Section 8 Consolidation Program.  The Section 8 and Subsidized Housing Online Packet does not charge an application fee for online applications for Section 8 or Public Housing. These applications can be found for free at housing authorities that are currently accepting applications. Only a housing authority can process housing assistance applications.
